# Introduction to Vraelis

Vraelis develops cybersecurity software for AI in defense, critical infrastructure and autonomous systems.

## What Vraelis works on

Our work spans model integrity, adversarial threats, machine trust and security evidence. Those four are research areas, not products.

| Area | What it studies |
| --- | --- |
| [Model integrity](https://docs.vraelis.com/model-integrity) | Whether the model that runs is the model that was approved. |
| [Adversarial threats](https://docs.vraelis.com/adversarial-threats) | Inputs, updates and supply paths built to change what a model does. |
| [Machine trust](https://docs.vraelis.com/machine-trust) | Explicit identity, limited permissions and checks at execution boundaries. |
| [Security evidence](https://docs.vraelis.com/security-evidence) | Records a person can read, kept in order, including what could not be confirmed. |

## One product direction

Vraelis Contour is the first product direction: model release security, from approval to reported runtime state. It is not for public use. It is built for release, platform and security engineers at suppliers and system integrators.

There are no other Vraelis products.

- [Vraelis Contour overview](https://docs.vraelis.com/contour): The five-step workflow and where it stands.
- [Products](https://docs.vraelis.com/products): The one product direction, and what is not a product.

## Where it applies

Defense, critical infrastructure and autonomous systems. Intended application areas. Vraelis has no customer deployments in them.

## The company

Foremake, Inc is the umbrella brand behind Vraelis and Overlym. Vraelis develops AI cybersecurity software, and Vraelis Contour, its first product, is in private development. Overlym is a separate fintech venture in development. Vraelis was founded by Nishanth Dasari. [Company](https://vraelis.com/company)
